I’m a nursing student from Brisbane (born and bred) graduating my Bachelor next year.
From here I am planning to enter the defence force taking my experience and knowledge to those who need it.
I’m currently a pipefitter while I finish my degree.
In my time off work I like to keep fit. I do Crossfit 6 -7 times a week and as physically challenging as it can be sometimes I still give it my all.
In my spare time I play the guitar, both electric and acoustic. (slide or lap steel style). I was told about DRA while I was doing a mining induction. The instructor was someone who had been involved in Mines Rescue in the past and following a conversation with her about what my future plans were, she mentioned Disaster Relief Australia.
I’m excited to be here.
