Listen to Dr Elizabeth Rushbrook Chair of Disaster Relief Australia and Executive Director of the Metro North Hospital and Health Service QLD, deliver an inspirational talk on how she has overcome adversity and achieved great things.
Dr Rushbrook joined the Royal Australian Navy in 1999, serving as a Senior Medical Officer before becoming Director General of Navy Health Service in 2011, Dr Rushbrook currently holds the rank of Commodore in the Royal Australian Navy Reserves.
In addition to her career in the Royal Australian Navy, she has been the Director of Disability Sports Australia, and now works as the Executive Director of the Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
