SUMMARY:DRA Training Cadre - EOI for Course SME and Trainers in the DRT's for Emergency Australia
DESCRIPTION:Opportunity: With the launch of the DRA and Emergency Australia (EA)(RTO) partnership we now need to find our Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to work with EA initially to help contextualise the training so it sets our people up to be best prepared to employ their skills within operations. The ongoing opportunity is for (paid) casual trainers\, employed by Emergency Australia to deliver training to your local DRT. Assistant instructor pathways (currently unqualified) are another opportunity of this program with a view to qualifying those assistant instructors in TAE 40122 as an employment outcome for our members. \nWho: We are looking for DRA members who have some experience within the organisation\, and have training qualifications with experience in the skills/qualifications we are going to be training. \nBackground: In recent months\, DRA’s Training Manager\, in partnership with the Managing Director of Emergency Australia (EA) co-created a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) partnership. The partnership will ensure the provision of high-quality\, nationally recognised training to DRA members for disaster relief operations. The partnership will also save costs and create employment opportunities for volunteers.
