DESCRIPTION:TRAINING EVENT: FWPCOT2275 – Fell trees manually (Basic)\nCOURSE PROVIDER: Emergency Australia \nLOCATION: OP Ranaudo Wave 6\nDATE: Monday 30th – Tuesday March 31st 2026\nTIMINGS: 0800 – 1600\, Both days \n\nONLINE PRE-LEARNING: ~3 hours\nPREREQUISITES:  \n\nMust have completed an EOI for WAVE 6 Op Ranaudo\nMust be Deployment Ready in Muster\nTenanus vaccination up to date\nQualified in Trim&Cut\, Maintain Chainsaw.\n\nWHY THIS TRAINING MATTERS:  This training is part being delivered on Op Ranaudo for volunteers who commit to deploying on Operation Ranaudo during Wave 6. Learners will gain valuable skills to support their deployment. This training builds higher-level skills beyond standard chainsaw trimming\, advancing into safe tree felling\, assessment\, and maintenance. With a strong focus on safety and risk management\, volunteers are better equipped to support disaster recovery operations. To be eligible for this course\, volunteers must already be qualified in Trim & Cut and Maintain Chainsaw. Applicants without this prerequisite will NOT be considered.
