Donating to this operation will support Disaster Relief Australia volunteers in real and practical ways.

Are you ready to deploy? This service project is open to Adelaide DRT members.

Disaster Relief Australia (DRA) – Adelaide DRT, is launching a Service Project in the Cudlee Creek bushfire area to continue assisting with the relief & recovery from the 2019/2020 fires. This will be of particular importance as there remains significant recovery work and the new fire season is now upon us.

After Op Hannaford in Jan/Feb and the last Service Project in August, there are still many property owners that remain in need of assistance. In mid November an attempt to launch Operation Mason, utilising a large number of our members from across the country had to be postponed due to recent COVID lockdown/restrictions in South Australia.

The Adelaide DRT is now responding by launching this Service Project, including multiple iterations in the new year.

  • Chainsaw work
  • Clearing of burnt trees
  • General clean-up of affected properties
