We have disaster relief teams in every state and territory. You can volunteer in your local area or put in an expression of interest to deploy for a week on a national operation!
Do you think you have what it takes to help communities devastated by disaster?
Disaster Relief Australia is made up of military veterans, emergency responders and motivated civilians. If you’re committed to serving those in need, there’s a spot for you on the team.
Disaster Relief Deployments
Deploy on disaster relief operations both in Australia and around the world in the wake of natural disasters. You will see for yourself the difference we make to communities and to each other.
DRA provides a broad range of general and specialist training. From UAV and imagery analysis to Incident Command Systems and Volunteer Management. Our training opportunities are near constant and ever evolving to keep us at the cutting edge.
DRA genuinely recognises the existing skills and experience of military veterans and first responders. You will never be asked to jump though unnecessary hoops to deploy. But we also offer pathways for professional development. Whether you are an experienced leader or a specialist in your field, DRA will both challenge you and help you grow.
Whilst DRA is a volunteer based organisation, opportunities for part and full-time employent are often available. If you are looking to start or progress your career in the disaster relief field, volunteering in DRA is the place to start.
