To say 2022 was exceptional is an understatement.
Australia has faced challenges and disruptions on a significant and unseen scale.
For the team at Disaster Relief Australia (DRA), it has been our biggest and busiest year to date.
Australia has never needed us more. In turn, we have never needed out partners and generous supporters like you more.
It is thanks to you that this year we were able to deploy teams to clean up, muck out, repair and clear the debris created by some of the worst floods ever seen in Australia.
Together, we have changed the lives of so many who lost everything and put them firmly on the road to recovery.
While we say that our volunteers are our biggest asset, we are under no illusion that without the ongoing and valued support of partners and supporters like you, we really could not do what we do. So, again, we thank you.
We sincerely hope that DRA can continue to count on your essential support in 2023 as we help communities across Australia continue to rebuild and recover. It’s going to be a big year.
