Disaster Relief Australia (DRA) is committed to accountability and transparency as governed by its Corporate Governance Framework and the Disaster Relief Australia Board. DRA is an Australian company limited by guarantee and is registered with the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission. DRA is an Australian Non-Government Organisation (NGO), a Public Benevolent Institution (Charity), and endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) by the Australian Taxation Office.
DRA is also a full member of ACFID and a signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct.
Board and Executive
The Board comprises six members who jointly oversee the role of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO has responsibility for daily management of the organisation and Executive Team who advise on key strategic and operational matters.
