In times of flood, bushfire, cyclone or pandemic, Disaster Relief Australia helps affected communities with vital relief and recovery services. As disasters increase in frequency and intensity, it costs an average of $6 million each year to mobilise our teams and keep them on the ground. A week, month or even years later, our volunteers continue to keep communities safe, get people back into their homes and help rebuild lives.

Fundraising helps Disaster Relief Australia grow our capacity to deploy volunteers and support recovery operations. Here’s a couple of ways to do so. Create a Facebook fundraiser Creating a Facebook fundraiser is an easy way to connect with family and friends over a common cause. Host an event Whether it be a golf day, morning tea, casual clothing day or gala dinner, any event can benefit Disaster Relief Australia. If you have an idea or would like to discuss event options, contact our Fundraising Team. Through the generosity of your legacy, you can make a significant impact by assisting individuals, families and communities affected by natural disasters for many years to come. With the incidence of natural disasters tripling in the past thirty years, leaving a gift in your Will to Disaster Relief Australia to assist future generations has never been so important.
