BACKGROUND-
Drawing upon the solid training you’ve already received from DRA, it’s time to sharpen your chainsaw expertise even further. As the upcoming bushfire season looms, we want you not only ready but also confident and empowered to step in. Your skills with the chainsaw can create a huge impact when serving vulnerable communities in need. Being the first step in recovery, you’ll be a beacon of hope for many bushfire-affected communities
Disaster Relief Australia and the DRT WA are strengthening their cadre of chainsaw skilled operators by providing continued access to chainsaw training for members to acquire new, or advance established skills. To maintain competency, it is essential our chainsaw operators seek opportunity to practice their cutting techniques.
For DRA members interested in future chainsaw training, this offers an up-close look at chainsaw operation through the experiences of qualified DRA chainsaw operators. Gain insights into its role in disaster recovery and get a feel for how this training could align with your interests and contributions to DRA operations.
