PREREQUISITES: 

  • Must have completed an EOI for WAVE 6 Op Ranaudo
  • Must be Deployment Ready in Muster
  • Tenanus vaccination up to date
  • Qualified in Trim&Cut, Maintain Chainsaw.

WHY THIS TRAINING MATTERS:  This training is part being delivered on Op Ranaudo for volunteers who commit to deploying on Operation Ranaudo during Wave 6. Learners will gain valuable skills to support their deployment. This training builds higher-level skills beyond standard chainsaw trimming, advancing into safe tree felling, assessment, and maintenance. With a strong focus on safety and risk management, volunteers are better equipped to support disaster recovery operations. To be eligible for this course, volunteers must already be qualified in Trim & Cut and Maintain Chainsaw. Applicants without this prerequisite will NOT be considered.
