BACKGROUND
Join DRA and DRT Queensland North for a Remote First Aid Course, meticulously designed to equip our members with invaluable skills for responding to medical emergencies in remote or isolated settings. This comprehensive training enhances our members’ preparedness and capability to handle unforeseen situations, reducing risks and ensuring safety during DRA activities, off-grid adventures, or remote missions.
Beyond standard first aid, this course offers specialised training in remote environments, including the use of specialided equipment, advanced CPR techniques, trauma management, and evacuation coordination. By completing this course, our members become capable of making a substantial impact during medical emergenices, at home or during DRA operations, potentially saving lives. The training aligns with industry-standard practices, ensures legal awareness, addresses psychological support, and involves realistic assessments in simulated environments, reinforcing our members’ ability to provide effective remote first aid.

Disaster Relief Australia and DRT Queensland North are hosting a First Aid OR CPR Only Course to up-skill our Members ready for any injuries or acute illnesses that may occur, at home, in the workplace, or out on a DRA activity. Having the skills to save a life and minimise suffering are critical, yet often undervalued…until you need them. Do you have the accessible skills to save the life of a family member, colleague or mate today.
