Short Term Operation Parkerville

In response to Bushfire preparedness

Disaster Relief Australia volunteers from Western Australia were deployed on 9 and 10 January 2026 to Parkerville, to assist a community member in need with bushfire preparedness during the high-risk weather season.

Tasks involved:

Clearing fire breaks.
Clearing overgrown areas.
Removal of vegetation.
Chainsaw, polesaw and brushcutter operations.
Loading trailers for the Community Volunteers to remove green waste from the property.
