Short Term Operation Sheffield

In response to Windstorm

Disaster Relief Australia volunteers in Tasmania conducted a Short Term Operation in the Sheffield area after the October windstorms, to support a local veteran family with several trees down on their property.

Volunteers visited the site on three separate occasions and were able to practice basic trim and crosscut chainsaw skills as well as support manual handling and safety roles.
