Operation Marshall
In February 2024, the town of Mirboo North, in the South Gippsland region of Victoria was hit by damaging winds which caused widespread devastation to 44+ properties and businesses.
Disaster Relief Australia deployed for 8 weeks to assist with the clean-up of fallen trees and removal of storm debris. Based at the Boolarra Memorial Hall, volunteers assisted many local residents and spent several days at the Mirboo North golf course, working towards reopening it for the community.
