Lions Disaster Relief Australia Project
The Disaster Relief Australia (DRA) and Lions Australia partnership is strong.
Lions Clubs across Australia change lives and make the community a better place to live. Our partnership with Lions Australia provides veterans the opportunity to get involved in the incredible projects and initiatives lead by Lions clubs. It provide Lions clubs with skilled and experienced volunteers that can help continue and grow the wonderful work they are doing in the community.

Lions Clubs on the ground with Disaster Relief Australia
Wherever DRA deploys volunteers on the ground to aid communities in need of recovery after disasters, Lions is there to help.
Lions Clubs around Australia raise funds and volunteer their time to assist their local communities throughout the year in practical ways. When the Wauchope Lions Club heard that DRA were in the Port-Macquarie Hastings area supporting the NSW floods of 2021, they decided to support us in a tried and tested Aussie way of feeding us.
When we asked them why they picked us they explained “We are here to help our community. You are here to help our community. So Lions can help feed you, to help heal us.”
