Disaster Relief Australia is now recruiting for volunteer leaders interested in the Mobilisation Team roles across all our DRT’s, at both Coordinator and Associate level.
We are looking for a dynamic group of people to join us in ensuring our teams keep moving around the country in response to our Field Operation needs. If you are a self motivated team player and are keen to step up and join the team, and you find that you thrive when faced with the challenges of logistical coordination, group management and communications then the Mobilisation Team may be for you!
Members who have a background in areas such as (but not limited to) project management, operational coordination roles, training, leadership, logistics, database management, and/or event management, and are willing to allocate approx 4-10 hours of volunteer work a week towards the role, will find themselves best placed with this opportunity.
We do suggest that all applicants have strong skills in interpersonal communication and have practical skills with programs such We’d suggest that all applicants have strong skills in interpersonal communication, and have practical skills with programs such as the Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word and SharePoint). Attendance of a Core Operations course is also ideal, with a minimum level of Engagement Ready in Muster.
