In August 2023, Disaster Relief Australia (DRA) became a Silver Member of the Australian Defence Force Reserves and Employer Support’s Supportive Employer Program.
The goal of the Australian Defence Force Reserves and Employer Support (ADFRES) is to enhance the availability of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Reserve, by facilitating strong and productive working relationships between reservists and their civilian employers.
The ADFRES’ Supportive Employer Program recognises those employers and businesses that go above and beyond to support their Australian Defence Force reservist employees and their role in serving Defence’s mission in advancing Australia’s national interests.
