The partnership between Disaster Relief Australia (DRA) and Mitsubishi Motors partnership began in 2020 and since that time Mitsubishi Motors have generously provided DRA with a fleet of new vehicles to use on disaster recovery operations around Australia.
Mitsubishi Motors has provided DRA with more than 33 vehicles over a period of three years. When their milage is combined, the fleet has travelled more than 1 million kilometres across our nation’s toughest terrain.
DRA has to date assisted more than 200 disaster-hit Australian communities, and the Mitsubishi vehicles have been instrumental in DRA’s ability to transport equipment and our volunteers to sites in every State and Territory. Operations have included flood clean-up in NSW and Victoria, bushfire recovery in NSW, cyclone clear-up in Tasmania and even the distribution of RATs and food parcels in SA during the COVID-19 recovery.
