Virgin Australia is an Australian-based airline who supported Disaster Relief Australia (DRA) to mobilise volunteers through discounted airfares from 2019 to 2020.
To support communities affected by disaster, DRA deploys volunteers with specific skills from around Australia. Through this partnership, DRA was able to mobilise volunteers for eight operations to support flood and fire recovery.
